Retaining walls are extremely common to many different construction projects. Their main use is to create a structure and barrier to hold back soil so that different levels of soil can be maintained on either side of it. There are various types of retaining walls such as gravity retaining walls, cradle retaining walls, Gabion retaining walls, counterfort retaining walls, pile retaining walls, and several more!
Brick veneer in Auckland is exceptionally popular in both the residential and commercial construction industries. Unlike traditional, brick veneer is not actually used to support the weight or structure of the home, but it is rather a decorative piece. Brick veneer usually looks almost identical to normal brick and is installed along the exterior walls of the building usually after construction.
Providing stability, ensuring structural integrity, and providing resistance to water and decay are all functions of a building’s foundation. The concrete footings, which are the first point of contact between the ground and the structure, are constructed first. Secondly, foundation walls are placed on top of these structures. This guarantees the even weight distribution throughout the foundation and protects buildings from soil erosion.
